Great folks! My husband and I had been hunting for a gelding for me for quite some time. When we first called Don we let him know what we were looking for and what price point we were at. I had been following Skyline online for about 7-8 months and watching all the neat things they do with their horses to prepare them for their forever homes. Don made a few suggestions of potential horses and put us down to come by and see them a few weeks out. His business approach and morals are top-notch! Pongo ended up catching our eye before we ever made it out to the ranch so we scheduled an earlier appointment than originally anticipated. When I tell you this gelding is DREAMY, it is not an exaggeration. He was exactly as Don described him over the phone. Well mannered, loves to ride, kind and let’s not forget gorgeous! Our experience when we got to the ranch was wonderful. My husband took Pongo out on the trail and he did great! Me, being a beginner rider, ponied our prospect in the round pen and I instantly fell in love. Since having our boy home he has been everything described and more. He’s gentle, sure-footed and loves his person. We’ve definitely connected and are enjoying each other. Don sold me two bomb proof horses twenty years ago….the man is simply the best in the game…so much so that I will make the trip from PA when my needs arrive…. My kids still talk about the summer shows that they participated in!

Don and his girls were supper helpful and friendly. We went to find my daughter a beginner friendly horse and Percy was the perfect match. I bought both Grainger and Trigger. They are both the best horses I’ve had. They are well behaved, and if they have the brand, you can trust them. Also the foxtrotters are awesome and rare for these parts. Great to have Don in Texas! He also takes care of your needs and questions after purchase!

Don sold us a great horse – Gizmo! He is such a good horse and Don was great to work with. We would definitely purchase from Skyline Stables again in the future .

I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase of Milly from Skyline Stables and Tack. Don, the owner, determined from what I was looking for, that Milly checked all the boxes. She’s a beautiful paint mare that is smoothly gaited, just the right height, and perfect temperament. I’ve had her less than a week and Milly and I have already enjoyed a trail ride with family and friends at Granger Lake. She has already become part of the herd, making friends with my two Arabians. Don and Sky are very personable and were so helpful making the decision and sale very easy. Sky demo’s the horses so beautifully on the YouTube channel. I was lucky enough to be referred by a friend to Skyline Stables. We were looking for a horse and just couldn’t seem to have any luck. We went to look at some horses that were supposed to be broke for kids, and even the people selling them wouldn’t ride them. A friend referred me to Skyline Stables so I called there and made an appointment. What a great experience. Don and Sky took all the time in the world to help us through our choice, and we finally bought Willow, a gorgeous, palomino mare. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for our second horse.

Bailey was our first purchase a few months ago. She is a great horse for my husband. We wanted a foxtrotter and the first place we checked was with Don at Skyline. Tango’s trot is smooth as glass. He is exactly as Don said. Once you have a foxtrotter you need another. So checked with Don before looking anywhere else. He had Lady Mae. We fell in love. All three horses are beauties and trained very well. Don and Sky make the entire experience great. He makes sure the horse will fit your purpose and riding level.
